I’ve been keeping something big to myself…
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon, for my brother, Kishan, and for the @the_bhf 🫀
Kishan was born with a congenital heart condition. In 2015 he developed sepsis and had to relearn how to walk. In 2022, his heart began to fail, and after we were told he wasn’t strong enough for a transplant, we thought we’d try again when he was better. But on 13 January 2023, Kishan passed away.
He faced every challenge with courage and laughter. Even in his final weeks, when he’d lost so much strength, he climbed the stairs again, a small moment that showed everything about who he was: determined, brave, full of fight.
Since losing him, I’ve been in a constant battle with my depression and anxiety. Running has been one of the few things that’s helped me breathe again; to cry, to think, to heal. Some days it’s the only thing that makes me feel close to him.
So, this one’s for him.
For 26 years of courage, laughter and love. For Kishan, who made every single day count.
If you’d like to support me, you can donate via the link in my bio and help me raise money for the amazing work the British Heart Foundation do. Every share, every message, every pound means the world. ❤️
Please share this video, share my page, and help me tell Kishan’s story, one step, one mile, one heartbeat at a time.
Thank you so much, truly.

A new era of Mansi’s Mind!
When I first started this newsletter, I had no idea where it would lead; just a small space to share my thoughts on grief, growth, identity, and all the quiet moments in-between. Over time, it’s become a mirror, a diary, a shared breath.
As I relaunch into the next season of Mansi’s Mind, I debated between two designs: one black and white, the other full of colour. The black and white felt fitting, for the grey, foggy moments I often experience. But I chose colour. Because even in the midst of uncertainty, I’ve found light, softness, and brightness.
There’s still so much to cover, so much chaos to experience, so many layers to unravel. We’ve only scratched the surface, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into it all with you.
The next season of Mansi’s Mind starts tomorrow at 10am! I’m excited to be back in your inbox ♥️
If you’ve been reading from the beginning, thank you. If you’re just joining, welcome — there’s room here for you too.
Subscribe via the link in my bio 💌 The story’s still being written, and I’m glad you’re here for it!

Monthly Mansi - Jan 2026 ❤️✨💌
Bringing back Monthly Mansi, but making it a bit more fun this time!
I’m adding the little things. The thoughts in the margins, random doodles, quotes, whatever was on my mind during the month!
January is always a heavy one for me. And this year it hit a bit differently. A few things came at me sideways. A couple moments properly knocked the wind out of me. It wasn’t a shiny “new year, new me” sprint, it was more of a slow, slightly dramatic trudge.
But also? There was so much joy in there!
1. Starting with some running (when I shouldn’t have been!)
2. Our 1st of Jan tradition, but with a bring your own dish twist, and the food was sooo good 😋
3. Solo vision boarded this year, and found it more stressful than fun aha
4. Spent a lot of early Jan looking for photos of Kishan when he was younger and came across a little innocent one of me! 🥹
5. A make your own ramen night 🍜
6. Bittersweet to go to Arsenal, haven’t been since the year Kishan passed and it was nice to feel his energy around me… although it was a draw :(
7. Celebrating Diya’s 25th with the girlies! 🤍
8. The ultimate girl dinner @losmochislondon
9. I work every day and every night 📸
10. Some heavy grief days in bed ❤️🩹
11. Feeding the cows on Kishan’s death anniversary - it has become a little tradition and brings so much comfort🐄
12. Some of the best matcha I’ve had so far this year - SO green!
13. Ba’s 83rd birthday ❤️
14. Back in the studio with @elizabethmccaff and a set upgrade 🎙️
15. Made a Lightning McQueen cake and I think it turned out pretty good!
16. Really wanted to watch The First Shadow before the last season of Stranger Things, but didn’t manage, but SO glad I finally made it - it was a incredible and maybe a little scarier than the show at times…
17. Get me back to Khao So-i, one of the best new restaurants I’ve tried in London in a long time!!!
18. Went to a wine bar and wrote a letter to my future self with my bestie, a special little treat to end the month 📝
19. And one of my favourite quotes I saved this month 🫶🏽
Today is Kishan’s 30th birthday, and last weekend we celebrated in the way he would have loved most, with a football match, his favourite people, personalised bibs, and all of his favourite food.
Kish always made such a huge effort to bring his people together. Different worlds, different friendships, all in one place… that was him. He believed in showing up, in gathering, in making moments feel intentional. Last weekend felt like a reflection of that.
Of course, the most important person was missing. There’s no pretending otherwise. But there was also laughter, connection, and a quiet sense of togetherness that felt right. It was comforting to be surrounded by people who knew him, loved him, and still carry him in their own ways.
It wasn’t about filling the gap he’s left, nothing ever could. It was about honouring him, remembering him, and doing something that felt true to who he was. For his 30th celebration, it felt like he was there in the details, in the happiness, in the way everyone came together.
Happy 30th, Kish ❤️
I usually mark the end of the year with a little highlight reel, but I didn’t have the energy, and if I’m honest, I wouldn’t say this has been my year.
Not a disaster, not a triumph. Just a year that didn’t move the way I thought it would.
So I wrote about it instead. About goals I didn’t reach, about anxiety and grief that doesn’t announce itself, about feeling stuck in some places while still being excited to wake up.
About new people, new experiences, and learning that not every year is about visible progress.
If you’re ending the year feeling a bit behind, or struggling to wrap it up with a neat bow, I hope this makes you feel a little less alone 🩷💌
