I can’t wait to share this all later this year!! I’ve been working on an album of rubberstamped graphic scores, a short film and a mail art post-kit. Each is a unique collaboration and each embodies and reveals a different aspect of the project, all the way back to its roots in the stamp collection of my great-aunt Freya and her connection to the Mail Art network. ✉️

Artist, writer, member of the New York School poets. Known for his sprawling work “I Remember,” a perusal of his memory, the sights, sounds, smells, objects, faces, moments, ephemera, all the shards that make up his experience on this earth. Joe reminds us that writing is time travel. “I remember…” is our launch pad for this workshop~ if you’re not familiar with Joe, fear not, this is a universal prompt. What do you remember?

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the first ever DAISY’S FILM YARD festival last Saturday, and to all the friends who helped and encouraged. It was so mega fun and inspiring to behold a full room of curious, attentive folks showing up for experimental cinema. The films nestled together, braiding, holding hands, humming about the mysteries of life n death, absurdity, nature’s spells, decay, angels, animate water droplets, skydiving, the end of the world. TRUE yard work 🧹

DAISY’S FILM YARD presents a one-night-only deep winter mini film festival, on the evening of Saturday January 31, 2026 at Casa Obscura. Bring your strange films to the yard! let them loose!
Submission guidelines~
Films should be under 25 minutes long, and made in the last five years.
Deadline: January 10, 2026.
Email [email protected] with a Vimeo/YouTube/Google Drive link and password.
Please also send a synopsis of the film and director’s bio. No geographic restrictions, no submission fee.
There is no theme, but a special emphasis on experimental works; works that challenge conventional filmmaking; video art; docs and hybrid docu-fiction; films with a strong sonic component; films shot on tape or analog film. We welcome films that get their hands dirty, films that throw a wrench in things, films that are poems, films that sing lullabies to rivers, etc
