The song is a musing on choice paradox and the beauty and overwhelm of the infinite. So, despite my anxieties on how to do this the right way, I’m finally letting this out in the world with hopes that it connects with some of you. 🔔🔗Sharing some more documentation from this performance last month- a swing woven with hair that was connected to my own. This idea struck when I was thinking about both the burden and joy of holding and being held, the never ending dance of offering support and needing it. I wanted to offer a space and feeling of weightlessness and embodied interconnectivity. The bells added another sensory layer to perceive the piece, a way to hear the sound of play. I recorded the soundscape I used here a couple years ago, called “feather grip”.
