Born and raised in Maracaibo, Manao started to build his path alongside the city’s electronic scene, structuring his community and connecting with others through music. Combining a selection of UK Bass & Detroit/Modern Electro to Latin Club, Warehouse Rave, and energized Jungle, he brings a fresh perspective to the dance floor and a unique take on today’s underground music scene.
Manao has delivered a convergence of different influences to venues around the globe and is now based in Berlin where he dedicates his time to music production and his dj research, constantly aiming to rescue his heritage and blend it with all the references he has acquired throughout the years.
Apart from his performance, he’s currently signed to Dance Trax and has also been featured on influential labels such as International Chrome, Turbo Recordings, Rekids, No Service, NS/A & Jupiter 4. Also, these releases have been supported and played out by DJs such as Jensen Interceptor, Dave Clarke, Alienata, Daria Kolosova, Salome, Imogen, VTSS, Mell G, Aloka, Partiboi69, and Craigie Knowes.
Manao’s evolving career reached a milestone with his performance at the iconic Berghain during the CTM Festival in 2024. His artistry and curatorial vision have also been showcased at esteemed venues such as Globus (Tresor), OXI, and Kwia, underscoring his deep connection to Berlin’s dynamic electronic music scene.

Last week, Manao and Berto Herrera made their way over from Berlin to premiere their new live project SCRY in which the duo explores the intersection of digital culture, societal critique and immersive experiences.
An hour of ambient, noise and soundscapes, and accompanied by a live digital exhibition provided by @six___minutes , this was an experience to say the least!

Today our collaborative efforts are now titled SCRY, wordplay off of the nefarious company Palantir. As SCRY we launch with CAPTCHA where we are debuting it through a live performance on @operator.radio and for those listening in we will have an accompanying visual experience/exhibition with @six___minutes and lastly to pick up the digital file (it’s free) and other goodies will be live on @metalabel__
An interrogation of digital labor, control, and the silent contracts we sign with every CAPTCHA solved. This project reclaims agency in an era where identity is verified yet increasingly lost. Are we proving we’re human—or training the system?
