Sonic Resistance Practices with Mama Matrix on @radioalhara today **** post poned at 11 Bethlehem time, 10 Cet, 9 Ire/uk @mama__matrix conjures a deep dub & spoken word set featuring recent productions by Mama with Iraqi writer, poet & percussionist Taha Salim (@tahasalimghyadh ) from his recent poetry book ‘Remnants of war, migration and love’. The tripped out mix also features her production with poet Reeta Cherie @govern3ss . Mama Matrix aka Clíona Ní Laoi is an Irish experimental musician, producer and selector. Focusing on the archaic, primitive and metaphysical; she explores tripped-out worlds blurring boundaries of dub, bass, spoken-word and ritual industrial. A lot of her work focuses on collaboration and live improvisation with a diverse range of artists, MCs, poets and performers, and how music is a powerful revolutionary vehicle for community and connection.
