“After the impact of Exist in Ramallah festival back in 2019, and how relationships between the artists got established and the attendees contribution that helped to shape the identity and the vision of the project itself. Exist decided to take the next step and expand the project with a label that is runned between Amman based and festival founder Odai Masri and Amsterdam based and label co-founder Chafik Chennouf with the same ethics that the festival is standing for.
Some of the main principles Exist upholds include resistance to homophobia, and the ongoing colonization of various parts of the world by state actors or multi-national oligarchs. In turn, we think that this colonization leaves no one free, and that it especially targets communities (human and non-human) that are most marginalized by capital and historical racial and ethnic structures.
The first release 'Marks of Existence' is a collection of mind-melds with some of the scene's most continuously exciting and refreshing artists: Drew McDowall, Muqata'a, CASKO, Adel Poursamadi & Tegh.”

Exist Festival/Records returns with its first release of 2023 and its second compilation “No ComplY” a Gaza Skate Park, Fundraiser Compilation. The Compilation features a rare assemblage of dear friends of the label, representing the Arabian-Orient and African region. The compilation pays homage to Skate Gaza, a Skate Park near the port of Gaza City, which since 2014 has cultivated a temporary passage of salvation for children escaping what is now commonly accepted as the world’s largest open-air concentration camp.
The Skate Park has now evolved into a beacon of hope and an indispensable entity that has empowered children with a sense of community, striving towards a collective sense of liberation and purpose. The Skate Park provides a momentary interlude in space and time, away from an atmosphere, habitually marked by severe dehumanization and premeditated infrastructural deterioration, designed to both regress and ethnically cleanse the besieged inhabitants of Gaza.
The Hip-hop, pan-African rap, and Industrial Electronics inspired compilation will be available on a limited-edition Compact Disc (CD) and available for listening & streaming via Bandcamp, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Apple Music. The release will feature a limited press of “No Comply” T-shirts and a very limited number of “No Comply” skateboards, with a unique design for each skateboard, crafted by our very own Tala & Bader who have been the masterminds behind the project's art direction.
All profits from the release will be distributed to the Skate Gaza team, in an effort to support and expand the Skate Parks mission. We have partnered with 7hills Skate team in Amman who will be providing skating equipment to the team in Gaza, as well as providing free lessons & skills training for the Skate Park team and children.
The compilation will be out next Wednesday the 19th of April

Rayane is a Beirut-based DJ and visual artist. Her sonic fusion operates outside the realm of genres. Known for evoking feelings of ascension,
Rayane explores total harmonic distortion, sewing frailty to hostility with her signature approach of blending intense dissonance with introspective harmony.
Iron Lang is the artistic alias adopted by Anthony Arcana, who hails from Italy. Following his studies in Sound Design, he delved into crafting electronic music, exploring genres ranging from Techno to Bass Music to Extreme Metal, Iron Lang can be described as a fusion of ambient, cinematic siege, and noisy deep bass elements.
Additionally, he embarked on the creation of his own analog instruments under the moniker Colossus Audio. Shortly thereafter, he ventured into the realm of sound design for the fashion industry. His debut LP is set to be released by Veyl Recordings.

Resist to Exist' is a collaborative album released in conjunction between Exist Records and Avon Terror Corps raising awareness to the Palestinian medical services’ efforts to safeguard their population in the face of Israeli airstrikes against their territories.
This necessary initiative was led by Exist Founder, Odai Masri who tragically passed away on 30 June 2023.
Odai Masri was the founder of the first Palestinian Electronic music record label Harara Records and Exist Festival. Forever cementing himself in Palestinian Resistance folklore, not a single day passes where the magnitude of the void left in his absence is not felt. A colossal character possessing the gift of transcendental humility and boundless compassion, it is in time like this when his voice and absence is most felt.
In light of the ongoing GENOCIDE being committed in Gaza, Exist Records and Avon Terror Corps have decided to release a second-run of the renowned 'Resist to Exist' shirt to raise much needed funds for medical aid in Gaza.
