I’m deeply honored to earn the endorsement of my friend and our governor @govwesmoore , in my campaign to become your next State Senator. From our annual RUFFHouse Juneteenth Celebration to bringing back more than $12.1 million in investments for District 41, our shared commitment has always been about building safer neighborhoods, expanding opportunity, and creating pathways to work, wages, and wealth for our communities. I’m grateful for the Governor’s trust and partnership, and I look forward to continuing this work together for the people of District 41. #District41 #MalcolmRuff #WesMoore #Baltimore #TeamRuff

District 41 is not a collection of zip codes. It’s a community. I’m proud to introduce a slate of leaders who reflect the strength and diversity of our neighborhoods: Chezia Cager — Delegate Jill Carter — Hunting Ridge George Buntin — Irvington Glen Middleton — Coldspring–Newtown Evan Serpick — Mt. Washington David Smallwood — Uplands Alexis Seth — Glen/Fallstaff Jessica Fauntleroy — Edmondson Village Rebecca Campany — Hunting Ridge This team brings depth of experience, real energy, and a shared understanding that public service is not about titles — it’s about earning trust and delivering for the people who placed it in you. District 41 deserves leadership that listens closely, works diligently, and understands what’s at stake in every neighborhood — from our schools to our small businesses to the families building their future here. We are stronger when we act with purpose and unity. Early voting begins June 11 and runs through June 18th. More days to vote means more opportunity for our community to participate, fewer barriers at the polls, and more voices counted. I encourage everyone in District 41 to make a plan and take advantage of early voting. One for all — and all for 41.

@govwesmoore ’s endorsement is a meaningful continuation of the work we’ve accomplished together for the people of the 41st District and communities across Maryland. This legislative session, Governor Moore signed five bills into law that I was proud to sponsor focused on justice and re-entry, protecting older adults, and strengthening our communities through public safety and environmental progress. One of the major victories this session was our elevator and public safety legislation designed to better protect older adults and ensure safer living conditions for vulnerable residents across our state. This is what partnership looks like. We both continue to be committed to the development of real policy, community investment, and results. From bringing millions back home to the 41st to advancing legislation that protects families, older adults, and neighborhoods, I remain committed to fighting for safer communities, greater opportunity, and pathways to work, wages, and wealth for everyone in the district. Thank you, Governor Moore, for your trust, your partnership, and your continued support to push this work forward.

#FBF Last year, Del Ruff hosted a pre–Mother’s Day brunch with mothers from the 41st District. We came together to celebrate the backbone of our communities — the women who lead, support, and serve every day, often without recognition. These are the quiet pillars, the background titans, the ones who make everything work and expect nothing in return. Wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who continue to show up, pour in, and hold it all together.
