Good makeup starts with balanced skin, not overloaded skin… something I learned the hard way 😶🌫️
Too many products create a slippery mess. Makeup stops gripping properly, the skin starts sweating through layers, and everything becomes harder for both the bride and the MUA.
These are the products I actually trust to prep the skin without overdoing it:
@biodermamexico Sensibio —— To make sure the skin is REALLY clean… I love my brides but I don’t trust anyone when they say they removed all their makeup lol.
@kiehlsmx Creamy eye treatment? Perfect. No notes.
@danessamyricksbeauty Water Powder Serum —— Witchcraft for oily queens and tropical weddings. The learning curve is letting it dry for a couple minutes.
@milkmakeup Milk Power Grip (or the ELF dupe lol) —— Only when I need makeup to survive a marathon wedding day. Don’t mix it with the Water Powder though.
@rhode Glazing Milk —— Probably the product I use the most in my kit, if I have an oily bride that’s the only thing I’m using to hydrate + the eye treatment. If you have any dry patches, redness or want to dilute a foundation this is the product!
@embryolisseusa Lait Crème —— Is the OG for a reason, hydrates beautifully without making the skin feel heavy or weird.
@fentyskin Plush Puddin —— WAY better than the Laneige one and nobody can convince me otherwise.
@dalba_global Spray Serum —— Amazing whenever the skin needs life again after too much powder. I would avoid it on oily queens though… or at least keep it away from the T-zone and only spray the cheekbones.
