Nothing quite prepares you for what awaits inside. Beyond the façade of Grand Hotel Tremezzo lies something truly special—where even the simplest step inside can spark pure joy.
Did you know that the grounds of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo were once part of the botanical gardens of Villa Carlotta, before the hotel was built? It’s something we notice more than ever this time of year. Azaleas and camellias are in full bloom, both in our park and in the neighboring Villa Carlotta. This truly is Lake Como’s sweetest season—a perfect time to stroll through the gardens along its shores.

Easter at the Grand begins with the joyful sound of church bells, followed by the pleasure of admiring our chefs at work as they prepare the seasonal Pranzo di Pasqua at La Terrazza Marchesi. Meanwhile, little ones race through our colorful gardens in search of Easter treats during the traditional caccia alla uova.
Spring is in full bloom by the lake, and we hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.
The most keenly-anticipated event in the design calendar is just around the corner: Salone del Mobile takes place in Milan at the end of April. Showcasing the most exciting design finds and fabulous furnishings, as well as a whirl of events taking place around the city (the most exciting Fuorisalone), we are perfectly placed to experience it all during the day, and then retreat back to the lake for more peaceful evenings.
