Spring is really testing us this season.
Here's some pockets of joy: inbetween work, there are flowers dropped off on stoops, concerts, 'leftovers' on every surface at home, walks on the beach, dinners out dodging the rain, frantic calls to mom, overdue coffee dates with girlfriends, one very luxurious break between a flip, and lying in bed wondering if I'll ever see the sun again, teaching SO many people the art of flower arranging, emails, emails, emails, invoicing, van Tetris, COFFEE, a messy ass desk, hitting PRs at the gym, playdates with tiny humans, studio shopping, and signs from the universe. ✨💓💐🌸

This was a fun one to make! All orange, basketball play, and trust from @tangerinebank before the @raptors game at @realsports . ✨
From first sketch to pumping up basketballs (thanks @alizaflowernova ), to giggling our way through install, listening to Space Jam with @alicealundifloral & @nancycasanova19 , I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday.
As always, we continue to challenge and push ourselves - all designs are entirely foam free. 🌷

Summer of '23. One of my bigger projects at the time - I had only been doing floristry for a year, so I really couldn't believe my luck when this project landed in my inbox.
A traveling activation for @canadaslifeline in 4 different locations over the summer - I was head over heels! Tropical plants + florals up high, down low - all done in sustainable mechanics, lasting over weekends in rain, wind & sunshine.
The bonus? Seeing my work on a billboard in @sankofasquare ! A goal I jotted down on a sticky note the summer before - not the way I imagined, but it happened. 💫

Here's a snapshot from a balmy spring evening, whipping up bouquets for @td_canada . It was all about tulips, pussy willow & forsythia. 🌷

Over the years, I've been reiterating this philosophy as I approach my life and business. A dance of self-care with the realities of a business that requires all of me: my body, brain, and soul. ✨
