Our CSE Live quiz was designed to engage every event pro that walked past our booth by asking “What is your Event Personality” with archetypes modeled after Alice in Wonderland characters. Let’s face it- people love learning about themselves so this activation enticed a lot of eyeballs. This in person experience also captured leads via a QR code that required their email to read the full result. We love creating in person, engaging moments that can turn into digital follow throughs packed with value. ♥️♣️♦️♠️

♥️We’re Mad About Events♥️ Taking inspiration from the Mad Hatter and our moniker, our CSE Live booth was a contemporary interpretation of an Alice in Wonderland aesthetic. We designed a graphic floor decal that anchored the space with bold whimsy, a mustard arch featuring our logo and tagline, and a highly interactive wall quiz reminiscent of 90s teen magazines. What is your event personality? You had to step into the booth to find out. This year, we’ve leaned into a marketing heavy approach intentionally facilitating conversations that will help grow our business and team. Participating in the @canadianspecialevents CSE live trade show was part of this strategy. Our honest take: trade shows can be tough. Our approach was to create something fun and interactive for every guest so that they’d actually want to be inside our booth and talk to us, whether they were a potential client or not. And the quiz worked. The feedback was that people loved our booth, both the aesthetic and the engaging activity. The quiz wall saw many eyeballs and hands. However, overall attendance seemed on the lower end of the promised numbers with corporate planners (our potential client) few and far between. The quiz followed through to a lead capture system which a number of people participated in but less than we would have liked. Will some of those leads turn into future clients? Maybe. Maybe not. That’s the risk when you invest in events like this. And to have a booth like this is no small investment. If you have any questions about our CSE Live experience, hit us up in a DM.
