You can find Sika with his daughter, Milan, ready to welcome you to their shop filled with African wares, baskets, mudcloth printed scarves and custom jewelry made and inspired by Sika.We are grateful for all of the small business owners, makers, artists and manufacturers in LA. These masks from @shopirroirro are . Founded by Marie Miao, “Irro” is a Japanese term, and Irro Irro together means "variety". Made from two layers of 100% linen and 100% cotton double lining, these masks are handmade-to-order in Marie's Los Angeles home studio. The inner layer forms a slit to insert a filter of your choice. Best of all, Miao has been able to use proceeds to donate over 200 masks to healthcare workers, essential workers, and those unable to afford masks! @narratedobjects Objects just released their coloring book for all ages called "We Heart L.A. Parks". Designed in collaboration with Angelenos ranging from elementary-school kids to veteran artists, the book showcases the diversity of LA's open spaces and how urban wildlife and humans can share these spaces and flourish. A percentage of profits from the book will be donated to the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust (@neighborhoodlandtrust), whose mission is to contribute to the equity and well-being of our neighborhoods through the development of parks, gardens, and community-driven organizing.
