Create a world of hope for wish kids by donating unused airline miles!
In a typical year, more than 75 percent of wishes involve travel. It will take more than 75 million miles to grant all Minnesota travel wishes annually. Donated airline miles help make these wishes possible.
Every mile donated helps wish kids and their families travel to destinations around the world. Once donated, your miles will never expire and are used to support wishes across the country.

#WISHGRANTED ✨ Parker's wish to have a dog was granted!
Her new puppy will bring so much joy and happy memories to Parker and her family! A big thank you to @petevolution for helping make Parker's wish day extra special!
Meet this month's volunteer spotlight, MJ! ✨
MJ has been volunteering with Make-A-Wish Minnesota since 2021, having previously worked with the Massachusetts/Rhode Island and Colorado chapters. She serves as a wish granter, event tabler, and fundraising volunteer.
"The most rewarding part for me is running into people when I have my Make-A-Wish T-shirt on and they tell me about the wish they had when they were a kid. That tells me that it is so meaningful that they never forget their experience and are so grateful. Of course, I love to see the kids get their wishes as well."
Thank you, MJ, for all your service over the years for Make-A-Wish Minnesota and beyond!
Thank you to the Minnesota @twins for hosting Make‑A‑Wish Day on World Wish Day! ✨
It was a fun afternoon at Target Field as our wish alum, Vlad, threw out the first pitch and later joined staff and board members to lead the 7th‑inning stretch with Take Me Out to the Ballgame. The Twins also featured Make-A-Wish Minnesota videos on the big screen and had wish dad, Charlie, raise the Twins Territory flag prior to the first pitch of the game!
Your partnership helps bring joy, hope, and unforgettable moments to Minnesota wish families.
We are still glowing from Wish Ball! ✨
Because of YOU, we raised a record‑setting $1.3 million to bring hope and joy to wish kids across Minnesota. Thank you for showing up, celebrating with us, and making more wishes possible.

Wish kid Reagan had a blast at her princess and painting wish celebration! Her wish to go to @waltdisneyworld is being granted in a couple weeks so what better way to kick off her wish than with a princess cake generously donated by @dqfourteenfoods , and food donated by @cfaknollwood . Prior to the wish celebration, Reagan also had a wonderful wish reveal party hosted at @backchannelbrewing with food donated by @bcbc_eats !
Reagan's mom shares this about their wish experience thus far, "It is incredibly difficult to put into words what Make-A-Wish Minnesota has meant to my family. In the middle of everything our family navigates, they created space for something magical. They reminded us that hope still exists in the smallest, most beautiful ways. They gave us something to look forward to when we needed it, and as a parent, there is no greater gift than seeing your child genuinely excited, genuinely happy, and genuinely free, even just for a moment."
A big thank you to @uncommonretail for supporting local wishes like Reagan's, to @crayonkellyexperience for donating her gallery for the celebration, and to her wish granters Lori and Jen for making Reagan feel so special every step of the way ✨
That's a wrap on World Wish Month 2026 ✨ thank you to everyone who celebrated with us! From our incredible local partners hosting fundraising events throughout the month, to Wish Ball, light ups, the Make-A-Wish Day at the Twins, and so much more, we had a blast celebrating all month long.
Most importantly, every moment brought us closer to granting more life‑changing wishes for Minnesota kids. Thank you for helping make the magic possible💙
Happy World Wish Day! ⭐ Each year on April 29, Make-A-Wish celebrates the first wish granted in 1980 which sparked a global mission to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, like Minnesota wish kid, Nash.
For our last installment of WishMaker Wednesday, we want to highlight Nash's incredible parents who have been alongside Nash for the entirety of his medical and wish journey.
For parents, watching their child endure medical treatments, hospital visits, and countless appointments can create ongoing traumatic stress. A wish experience offers families a rare chance to step away from that strain, restore emotional wellbeing, strengthen familial bonds, and reconnect with their communities.
“As a parent, it was so fun to see the sheer joy on his face as each new adventure unfolded,” recalls Nash’s mom, Lisa. “We were able to enjoy each other instead of working and caretaking. It was great to get a mental break and experience real happiness and be excited about something.”
Inspired by the impact of Nash’s wish, his parents have since become involved with Make-A-Wish Minnesota to help bring that same magic to other families. This spring, Lisa—a teacher in Fosston—hosted a spaghetti dinner at her school to raise money for Make-A-Wish Minnesota. In total, Lisa has raised over $8,100 so far through her Wish Your Way page!
Seeing their community come together to support a cause that touched their family so deeply is, in many ways, what a wish is all about. Their generosity will help ensure that more children experience the power and healing of a wish.
