Luna, an Akita-Husky mix, became seriously ill after what her veterinarian believed may have been linked to commonly used flea, tick, and pest control products. Her condition was devastating. She dealt with chronic skin issues, organ complications, and seizures that deeply affected her quality of life.
Even when several vets suggested it might be time to say goodbye, her family was not ready to give up on her. They kept searching, hoping there might be another way to support her and give her more comfort.
That search led them somewhere unexpected. They learned that Luna’s experience was not unique. Many pets and families were going through similar situations without realizing the potential role everyday chemical exposure could play.
Out of that heartbreak came a mission to do things differently. A commitment to finding safer, plant-powered alternatives for protecting pets and homes, and to rethink what true protection really means.
What started with one dog and a small kitchen experiment grew into something bigger, built on Fierce Love. A belief that protecting the ones you love means asking harder questions and choosing better when you know better 🐾🌎
This Earth Week, Luna’s story is a reminder that change often begins with love, questions, and the courage to do things differently.
