BBQ, Brew & Blues is coming to Back Channel Brewing — a full day celebrating barbecue, community, live music, and lake life on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.

We’ve brought together five Minnesota BBQ vendors, both food trucks and brick-and-mortar teams, chosen for their quality, professionalism, and community values. This isn’t about rivalry. It’s about showcasing the craft of barbecue, building comradery among pitmasters, and highlighting Minnesota’s growing BBQ scene.
What to expect:
• 5 Minnesota BBQ vendors serving up their specialties
• Live music all day
Karlos & Jules from The Abiders | 2:00–4:00 pm
The Jim Stairs Band | 5:00–8:00 pm
• Full vendor menus available (some teams may streamline offerings)
• Family-friendly lakeside atmosphere
• Dogs welcome too
Competitions include:
Blind judging panel at 12:30 pm featuring Pork Ribs & Beef Brisket
People’s Choice Voting — every draft beer purchased between 12–7 pm earns a raffle ticket to vote for your favorite BBQ vendor
We’re also proud to partner with America’s Gold Star Families (@americasgoldstarfamilies ) as part of this Memorial Weekend event. Their organization supports families grieving a military loss across all conflicts and branches of service.
The event is also in collaboration with Safeside BBQ (@safeside_bbq ).
