Figured I should probably have a crack at actually introducing myself. So hello, I am Maisie, the face behind this page.
I only properly started taking pictures at gigs in September 2024 after having been going to them for the best part of 15 years, as kind of just something to pass the time/make myself useful whilst my boyfriend's band was playing however i fell entirely in love with it very quickly.
I've always wanted to make it a point to do it as cheaply as I can; I started out with a £40, 20 year old camera off eBay. It also ties in well with the style that I like to go for as I don't need to worry about quality so much.
I'm pretty shit at writing about myself, so I guess if anyone is interested my normal account is tagged in my bio, I mostly just post stupid stuff, crochet pics, landscape photography and general life stuff over there as i branch out to other areas of photography!
If you get this far and see me again please say hi and introduce yourself. I have major social anxiety so usually get in, do the job and leave pretty quietly
knifedoutofexistence sets are always stunning. No other noise artist captures that emotional struggle better than @immaturityofmovement . This was a stunner of a set with a perfect blend of ambience, tape saturation and harsher moments. Perfect way to end this gig.
Thank you to everyone who came along, everyone who performed and @john_doe_promotions for helping out with this 🫡. Next petrichor presents show is June 13th and there's a couple more in the works for summer/autumn.

@y_gwacter & Pale World @_humilationsadisease__ no words for this set. I've tried to organise the pics in chronological order to see the painting evolve. It was an absolute pleasure to have these wonderful people play this show, if they play anywhere near you (if you like noise or not), GO AND SEE THEM. The final painting is stunning too 🖤

Itching @henry_monkey absolutely locked in to this set. Amazing, dynamic and beautifully textured noise that was constantly evolving. One of my favourite sets I've seen in a long time.

Next up, @genderisthebastard with a fucking harsh set. I've seen Danny many times at this point and this is the most harsh set I've seen from them. Dense, crunchy noise giving way to brief screams and cymbal abuse. I'm so glad we managed to sort this last minute.

First Vehemence set was a blast, Peter is amazing to work with and his skills are next level. We have an album that's fully recorded, more info on that when we have any.

@wardensoutheast from March in Derby for @ironwillpromo
There's a lot of good bands doing the early 2000's sound but these have absolutely blown it out the park for how well they're doing it
