As has been well documented, the state of Victoria experienced some terrible bushfires just over a week ago with many individuals and businesses suffering losses. One of the worst hit areas was the town of Harcourt, in particular the co-op coolstore where over 80 business had stock destroyed, including many wineries. Since then, a number of amazing initiatives have been established to help the community and those most in need. In addition to losing his stock in the coolstore fire, local winemker Gilles Lapalus also lost his entire winery. A devastating blow at any stage, but even more so at this time of the year with harvest only a few weeks away. With the usual hoops to jump through for disaster relief payments and insurance claims eons away. A GoFundMe has been established to enable Gilles to pick and the pieces and get back on track... And to help draw people's attention to it, a few of us have come together to create the 'Je Suis Gilles' 6-pack!
