We packed our warm clothes, Stacey’s knives and the camel and travelled to @southaustralia for the most incredible food and wine event of the year - @tastingaustralia
The first few days were rummaging through the garden with Erinn, picking up organic supplies and changing our menu to suit what’s happening in the @ngeringa hobby garden 😉
I watch as Stacey changes her plans to suit seasonality, those of you who dine with us knows she’s a meticulous planner, highly organised and works so hard to ensure each and every one of her dishes has all the elements of balance, texture and flavour; sweet, salt and crunch it’s just so enjoyable to watch a chef out of their comfort zone.
Our event is tomorrow! (Sunday) @ngeringa vineyard in the Adelaide hills - and we cannot wait to host all our QLD regulars and our South Aussie legends 🥰
If you’re Adelaide hospo and want to pop in for a drink tomorrow and say hello please do, the cellar door is open and I’ll be there with a big kiss waiting for you 😆
We might even get you running food or plating dessert 🙈🤣
So much gratitude the Camel loving girls - eat more camel it’s a pest and bad for our native wildlife and pastoralists. 🫶

We have a special new addition to the family of Sheoak label wines being released this year...Introducing the 2025 Sheoak Fumé Blanc!
Crafted in the traditional French style, this Certified Organic Sauvignon Blanc is whole bunch pressed directly to older French oak barrels and matured for 10 months on full lees. This technique adds texture, complexity and weight to the palate.
Bright and inviting, with aromas of lemon and pear, lifted by hints of jasmine and lemon myrtle. On the palate, it’s delightfully silky and smooth, with a gentle creaminess that balances a crisp, refreshing acid line. Subtle nutty notes emerge on the finish, leaving a clean, lingering impression with just enough grip to keep it interesting.
Try our Fumé Blanc first at the Sheoak Release Tasting on Saturday 2nd May. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via the link in our bio.

This vintage has thrown us a few weather related curveballs, but our Summit Chardonnay is now all picked and safely in the winery. Later ripening and late-season rain has led to small amounts of disease pressure in the vineyard, nothing that handpicking and the team’s careful bunch selection couldn’t handle.
We’ve seen good yields come into the winery, with beautiful flavour ripeness, vibrant acidity and freshness. Ngeringa Chardonnay this vintage, will tell a story of balance and purity. ✨

Meet Norbert — Our Vineyard Maestro
Norbert came to NGERINGA from Germany last year to help with vintage… and he never left! A few months ago, he stepped into the role of Vineyard Manager, bringing years of global experience and a lifelong passion for vines.
From pruning to harvest, every vine in our vineyard benefits from his care, precision, and dedication. His love for the land and respect for biodynamic principles ensures our grapes grow with the energy and integrity that make our wines truly special.
A huge thank you to Norbert and the vineyard team — your work transforms these grapes into the biodynamic wines we’re so proud of.

Every grape picked by hand.
Every bunch of our estate grown biodynamic grapes are carefully hand harvested by our team to ensure only the healthiest, highest quality fruit makes it to the winery.
Then it is pressed and allowed to gently ferment under the watchful eye of Erinn. ✨️

We are incredibly proud that the 2024 Sheoak Pinot Noir has garnered high praise from critics and wine lovers across the country.
“Soft, juicy, slightly chewy pinot noir with brambly, blackberry characters meshed to pomegranate juice, dark cherry, garam masala spice and autumnal leaf characters… That plushness is a delight, a fine, trim chomp to tannin to close. Such pleasure and ease of drinking here.”
94 Points – Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
“The Ngeringa wines have flavour at the fore… There’s a concentration of fruit… black cherry, plum, pomegranate and bay. Some nutmeg spice throughout. The beginnings of dried orange. It’s pretty, but it’s honest. There’s sincerity to its seriousness. Its delicate pumice-like tannins drive it all home.”
94 Points – Katrina Butler, Halliday Wine Companion
Around 25% whole bunch, 15% carbonic maceration and matured for nine months in older French oak — helps to preserve the vibrancy, texture and purity of fruit. Hand harvested, foot stomped, wild fermented, with no fining agents.
Experience it at our cellar door, via our website, or in leading restaurants and wine merchants Australia-wide.
