meet Stefan, with more than 4 decades of experience in footwear and GORE-TEX technology, he is a true expert in his field.
he welcomed @irrremerdem@cpt_olf and @moubsen in the GORE-TEX laboratory to show them some of their testing devices and check if their new shoes meet the rigorous GORE-TEX standards - we‘ve captured everything in various content-strings for the adidas CONFIRMED app and @goretexstudio
thanks to everyone who has helped to make this possible - sorry for butchering your content in this post.

A week after the GORE-TEX Brand Studio [photography] Lab workshop from my previous post, we’ve worked on an exhibition to show the participants pictures to a broader audience at @hvw8gallery in Berlin. Thanks to all the new and old friends and faces that showed up.

The GORE-TEX® Brand Studio [photography] Lab is a series of interactive workshops and exhibitions designed to explore the versatility, durability, and functionality of GORE-TEX® products through a creative, artistic lens.
Led by professional photographers and hosted in collaboration with local creative hubs (such as HVW8 Gallery in Berlin and The Cloud Studio in Munich), these labs combine hands-on product testing with, capturing visual stories in various environments.
Key Aspects of the GORE-TEX® [photography] Lab
Creative Workshops:
The labs provide a space for photographers and creatives to shoot film, experiment with lighting, and capture „water-inspired imagery“.
Product Performance Testing:
Participants often test GORE-TEX® garments in real-world scenarios, such as walking in the rain or experiencing water-projection tests to highlight waterproofing.
Location-Based Storytelling:
Recent labs have taken place in cities like Berlin, London, Stockholm, and Milan, aiming to blend local fashion, street style, and urban landscapes.
Exhibitions:
The photos taken during these workshops are often showcased in exhibitions, such as the one held at HVW8 Gallery in Berlin.
Collaboration:
The labs frequently collaborate with brands like Adidas, Mizuno, Hanwag, and Danner.
Recent Highlights (2026)
Berlin Workshop (March 2026):
Hosted by Pangea and supported by HHV Clothing, focusing on film photography and city exploration.
