fastpacking the west highland way / 154km
3 and a half days marching from the city to the highlands, a proper welcome to scotland.
some seriously long days on the feet, sleeping wild, irn bru and lots of good patter… whats a couple km between friends?
we packed light (ish) so we could run the flats and downhills and steam the inclines, seriously taking our time, stopping for pictures and food where possible.
few moments we might have pushed it more than we had to but thats what it’s all about, riding the highs and the lulls.
I’ll conclude by saying loch lomond should be renamed ‘loch longmond’.

few postcards from antalya - this year I want to see as much of the world as possible whilst I’ve got the freedom to. I wasn’t overly familiar with Türkiye but when offered a visit along with a spare ticket for my best mate, I’d have been silly to have said no.
some of the best food i’ve eaten in a long time, very friendly people and the views speak for themselves.
