🔥Theatre that refuses to behave. Unflinching. Unapologetic. Urgently Alive. This November, Wit Incorporated Theatre Company ignites the stage with Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. — Alice Birch’s ferocious dissection of language, power and identity. Through sharp, surreal and darkly funny vignettes, it twists words into weapons and turns everyday rituals inside out. What begins as an assault on the language and traditions that have shaped “womanhood” becomes something larger: a call to tear down the systems of oppression that divide and diminish us all. *REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN. was first produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and premiered at The Other Place in Stratford in 2014.* 🎭 Directed by Emily O’Brien Brown 📅 25-29 NOV 2025📍Bluestone Church Arts Space 📅 13 DEC 2025📍The Bowery Theatre 🎫 Book now via 🔗 in bio ✨ This production is proudly supported by Maribyrnong City Council and The Bowery Theatre. @artsandculturemcc @creativebrimbank 👏 We thank Hop Nation Brewing Co. and Jen Pfeiffer Wine for their generous donations to our bar and we thank Boilerhouse Theatre Company for tech equipment support for this production. @rockitlikearedheadjenpfeiffer @hopnationbeer @boilerhousetheatreco 🎤 Join our interactive Q&A on 27 NOV as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. #16Days #16DaysOfActivism 📸 Photography & Graphic Design: Ben Andrews #RevoltSheSaidRevoltAgain #AliceBirch #MelbourneTheatre #FeministArt #Womanhood #IntersectionalFeminism #AusTheatre #ContemporaryTheatre #IndependentTheatre #MelbourneCreatives #WitPresent #JoinTheRevolt ID: The poster for Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. by Alice Birch, directed by Emily O’Brien Brown. Four performers appear in a black-and-white photograph, looking directly into the camera with expressive, rebellious faces - some playful, some defiant. Bold purple and yellow block letters spell out the title across a textured black background, evoking a vintage, 20th-century punk and feminist zine aesthetic.
