Over the Easter weekend, our team went on a field trip to the Bendigo Easter Festival to experience the dragon parade first hand, and wow, what a weekend! We were dazzled by the lion dances, firecrackers, and the incredible atmosphere. Some of us even got the chance to help carry the magnificent Dai Gum Loong in the parade. Experiences and histories like this are a big part of what inspired Gold Mountain Wives (working title). The trip has definitely sparked fresh ideas and creative excitement for the work, and we can’t wait to keep developing it.
