(유)매드제너레이터는 스페인 바르셀로나에서 개최된 MWC Barcelona 2026에 참가하여, SK텔레콤 부스에서 ‘AI X Manufacturing: 반도체 웨이퍼 검사 장비 로봇’ 을 구현하였습니다.
본 프로젝트는 초정밀 반도체 웨이퍼 검사 및 스크리닝 공정을 협동형 로봇암과 AI 기술과 결합하여, 모션 디자인의 관점에서 무결점 제조를 위한 차세대 스마트 팩토리 퍼포먼스 시스템으로 새롭게 재해석한 것입니다. MWC 2026 출품을 위해 하드웨어 및 로봇 세팅을 새롭게 재구성하고 콘텐츠 비주얼을 전면 업데이트하여, 글로벌 관람객을 대상으로 AI 기반 자동화 제조 공정의 비전을 한층 몰입감 있는 시각적 경험으로 선보였습니다.

MADGENERATOR LLC participated in MWC Barcelona 2026, implementing ‘AI X Manufacturing – Semiconductor Wafer Inspection Robot’ at the SK Telecom booth.
This project combines ultra-precision semiconductor wafer inspection and screening processes with collaborative robotic arms and AI technologies, newly reinterpreted from a motion design perspective as a next-generation smart factory performance system for zero-defect manufacturing. For MWC 2026, the hardware and robotic setup were reconfigured and the content visuals were fully updated, presenting the vision for AI-driven automated manufacturing to a global audience as an even more immersive and refined visual experience.

Vision Contents - Public Installation
(유)매드제너레이터는 현대자동차 E-GMP 전기차 플랫폼을 로보틱 퍼포먼스로 재해석한 설치 작품 「Vision Contents」로 2026 iF 디자인 어워드(Interior Architecture / Installations 부문)를 수상했습니다.
서울 강남 ‘현대자동차그룹 UX 스튜디오 서울’에 구현된 이 작업은 산업용 로봇암과 실제 EV 부품의 정밀한 움직임을 통해 자동차 생산 공정을 기계적 안무로 경험하게 합니다.
매드제너레이터는 디지털 렌더링이 아닌 실제 기계와 공정의 리듬을 전면에 내세워 현대자동차의 전동화 비전과 생산 미학을 드러내고자 했으며, 이번 수상은 예술·로보틱스·산업 디자인을 넘나드는 우리의 실험이 국제적으로 인정받은 결과입니다.
MADGENERATOR.LLC received the 2026 iF DESIGN AWARD in the Interior Architecture / Installations category for “Vision Contents,” a robotic performance that reinterprets Hyundai Motor’s E-GMP EV platform.
Installed at “Hyundai Motor Group UX Studio Seoul” in Gangnam, the work uses industrial robotic arms and real EV components to transform automotive manufacturing processes into a precise piece of mechanical choreography.
By foregrounding real machines and production rhythms rather than digital renderings, MADGENERATOR reveals Hyundai’s electrification vision and the aesthetics of manufacturing, marking an internationally recognized milestone in our cross-disciplinary practice across art, robotics, and industrial design.

(유)매드제너레이터는 서울 창동에 위치한 서울로봇인공지능과학관의 콘텐츠인 Robot singing bowl을 구현하였습니다. 이 콘텐츠에서는 참여자가 키오스크를 통해 인생과 명상에 대한 질문을 선택하면, 로봇이 명상을 위한 싱잉볼을 연주하고, 이어서 인공지능이 제시하는 조언을 들을수 있다. 인공지능의 조언이 종료되면 다시 명상을 마무리하는 로봇의 싱잉볼 연주를 들을수 있다.
Madgenerator.LLC has implemented Robot singing bowl, a content from the Seoul Robot AI Science Museum in Changdong, Seoul. In this content, participants select questions about life and meditation through a kiosk, and the robot plays a meditative singing ball, followed by a variety of advice from generative AI language models. When the A.I.‘s advice ends, the robot plays the singing ball again to conclude the meditation.
