I stayed out until it got dark tonight, got bitten on my face my mosquitoes but I did find the damselflies chilling in the flowers and because my diffuser has an LED light on the front they were very interested in it, and it created some beautiful effects .This is still a stack of 4 shots but I wanted to keep the colours of the flowers and the reflecting water droplets, I thought it look cool AF! แ—ทแ’ชแ˜Žแ™“ tแ—ฉแ“ฎแ’ชแ™“แ–™ แ–™แ—ฉแ™ขแ”•แ™“แ’ชIโ€™ve loving spending time with the Damsel flies early in the mornings this summer.I think because itโ€™s so hot this year theyโ€™re not as active as usual and Iโ€™m getting some nice stacked images of these beauties.Iโ€™ve been researching their behaviour a lot more this year, and it never gets old learning about insects and our amazing world ! โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Out in the field. No manipulation. hแŽพแแŽฌแŽฝ bแŽฌแŽฌ Itโ€™s going to be a rough few days for bees and insects, they generally donโ€™t leave the hive when itโ€™s about 38c and weโ€™re predicted 40c heat here in Surrey.The thing is when they donโ€™t leave the hive they can overheat huddle together so leave some water out in your garden and look out for over heating bees ( they usually crawl and flutter their wings very fast ) โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Out in the field. I bet you can remember the last time you found one? Theyโ€™re actually listed as โ€˜Nationally Scarceโ€˜ now, so if you do see one .. put it somewhere safe and report the sighting.
