Long story short, take your car to a competent shop!
@m3xlite originally had a shop local to him install everything on his M340i xDrive, where the car left not running right. We were able to see issues from remote tuning logs, and in frustration, he drove the car down to us and handed us the keys.
After diagnosing issues after issues, faulty PI injectors, bad O2 sensor, coolant lines switched on the intake manifold (killed the water pump 😭), we finally got the car put together the way it’s supposed to be. Just in time for week-long thunderstorms. 😑
With street tuning out of the question, we took the car to our homies once again at
@eurochargedhtx /
@spoolperformance to dial it in on their AWD dyno. The result is:
797whp/777wtq on map 3 (38 psi)
821whp/808wtq on map 4 (40 psi F around n find out map)
Car also has a wastegate daily map, and a 30 psi medium boost map, for all occasions. We also hopped on a custom trans tune with
@sutphintuning , who quickly sent us a TCM file that felt faster than the OTS maps from XHP!
