I'm always way too late to the recap post game, but I think this one's a new record 😅. Between selling our motel, moving twice, and two b2b festivals, this summer has been chaotic to say the least, and I'm only now starting to feel some sence of normalcy again.
This year's
@futureforestfestival was exactly what I needed to reconnect with people and music, and regain some sense of who I am outside of running a business 24/7 with little time for anything else. I didn't realize just how badly I needed to hang out in nature with new and old friends, in front of a stack of bass bins.
The rain and mud was an unexpected challenge this year, but we all managed to thrive in spite of it. I was blessed with sunshine on Saturday before my set, and even though it was disgustingly hot while I played again, I'm grateful we had clear skies, and that a solid handful of beautiful people came to sweat it out with me! 🙏
Big ups to
@wobblewallah and the whole Future Forest crew for having me out to play for my 3rd time - the Mushroom Stage is starting to feel like a second home and I hope I'll be back again real soon 💚🍄
