This was one of the most fun experiences we’ve ever had and thank you soooo much to everyone involved in the whole process. It is not easy to independently tour and we are so glad we took the risk and did this. Thankful to everyone who has tuned into this series and we hope to be able to do this again very soon. Join The Circus - Episode 4 Out Now (Link in bio) Another amazing tour stop filled with high highs and low lows lmao. This was many of our first times in Vermont and it was lovely to have our first experience there while on tour. The venue was so cool and the local bands were amazing. We had such a great experience. Immediately after the show @tawobihbc , @rileyofhbc , @mosesmosima_ , and @animalsexploreafterrain decided to get an AirBNB at a cabin in the mountains of Vermont about halfway to New York. On the drive to the cabin we ended up getting a flat tire in the middle of the mountains around 2am. We had to unload the truck to get to the spare tire and change the tire in the pouring rain. We tried to call AAA but they couldn’t come out until the morning. This was by far the most stressful moment of the tour and the next day we scrambled to find a tire shop in the small town we were in that could replace the tire so we could make it to the next tour stop, Brooklyn New York. The Gang goes to Portland Maine Join The Circus - Episode 3 Out Now (Link in Bio) We took a quick two day hiatus after Detroit to get ourselves to Portland Maine. SHID headed to Rochester New York to take a break and @tawobihbc @scratchwilliams & @rileyofhbc went back to Philly. While back in Philly we had to exchange our first rental car with another because we were getting weird error messages on the screen. They ended up giving us a Tahoe which was a great upgrade. We also were now joined by @mosesmosima_ & @ayjefeholmes . They were supposed to be driving up in Jeff’s car but his car broke down right when we were leaving. So we had to go scoop them and pile everyone into the Tahoe and head up to Maine. The show was at @theapohadion and was with @s.c.o.b.y.band @songsfortheend_times & @squidpartyband and was absolutely incredible. The crowd was so much fun and the venue was incredible. Episode 2 of our Join The Circus Tour is out now and covers our visit to Detroit, Michigan. This marked the halfway point for the tour and turned into on of our most exciting shows of the trip. We were had been to Detroit a few years prior for a show so we were incredibly excited to be back for our own tour. We were blessed to be joined by the bands @sonicsmut & @careerfuneral as well as our friend from back home @ogweswalker . We were also incredibly blessed to be joined by three Bruiser Brigade artists @j_u_s , @fatray1 & @nebrthetiger . Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and we can’t wait to come back. Today marks the two year anniversary of HBC’s first ever tour JOIN THE CIRCUS. I’ve been working on this recap/vlog/doc since the tour started and wasn’t really sure what it was going to become. At first it was a 6 hour video and I had no idea what to do with that. So here we are, I’ve broken it down into episodes. This is episode 1, for this episode you get to watch our first three stops Penn State & Pittsburgh, PA & Columbus, OH. This was my first time at all three of these places and it was an amazing experience to be able to do this with HBC. we have anew album coming toyou I am in such paralyzing gratitude to this band. and this place has surrounded me with friends and with music and what a privilege it is to have them all superimposed on each other. recorded live (mostly) in two days in julia and martha's living room. two guitars, bass, drums, percussion, banjo, lap, cello, synthesizers, samplers, clarinet, and two voices. difficult music to share with others. this record is a bit of a record of the past two years of self-doubt and self-destruction. but I have new tools, new means, new songs :) anyways, here's some pics of recording weeknd and more info to come ! thank u
