So excited to share the work I did for @goodforherfilms upcoming fairy tale film series, As You Wish at Agecroft Hall and Gardens! This was such a fun creative challenge, sourcing as much authentic manuscripts and public domain illustrations as possible, and incorporating some illustrations of my own! It was a blast getting out of my comfort zone and really just letting the whimsy take over ✨ The first image is the approved admat. Swipe for the original vision that unfortunately couldn’t be used, but is still near and dear to my heart! I grew up on A Knight’s Tale, fairy tales and fantasy books, so this opportunity was a dream come true! Recently got to work on an awesome commission for a custom Rocky Horror Picture Show poster! Loved getting retro with the design choices here, especially with the anti-matter laser/lightning bolts border. I wanted to practice a bit more hand-drawn shading, texturing and illustration as well, and love how it turned out! Wasn’t easy trying to do justice to this WILD film, so many great scenes, set design, costumes and BTS photos of Tim Curry, but I’m happy with the end result!
