This go around I understand what I need. I just turned 31. For some this would be embarrassing but I don’t care. I have friends with high paying jobs and seemingly fulfilled lives that are miserable or romanticize where I’m at. So I just keep walking. I made this record around 2021 and feel far removed from the person and situation that made it. It’s a piece of me frozen in time and it makes me smile to think that the person on this record has no idea how much life and himself would change between then and now. @filo5ofi . All he did was get high and work until he lost himself. I’ve spent a long time finding me again. That’s realer than anything I say on this song and this song is filled with real shit. Special thanks to filo for doing an extra day of shooting for this. We shot with Neph in Chinatown right before the rapture party show which made that whole day extra special. This has been an extremely affirming year and I can’t thank all of you enough for listening, coming to shows, buying merch and sharing my music around.
