So this happened. I found out recently (and very belatedly, lol) that sometime in the last 12ish months I hit a surreal author milestone: over 1 million copies of my books have sold around the globe! I was stunned when I learned the news a few weeks ago, and I’m still stunned today. 🥹
My author journey hasn’t been without challenges. There have been some really high highs, but also some incredibly low lows. I’ve been in this industry for nearly ten years, and have given every part of myself along the way - blood, sweat, tears, you name it. At times, it’s been so hard that it’s brought me to my knees, and at other times, I’ve been floating on Cloud 9. But through it all, one thing remains the same: just how much of a joy and a privilege it is to create stories that bring such light and hope and happiness to so many people.
Over a million of you - that blows my mind. 😭😭😭
I wish there was a stronger way to say “thank you.” I wish I could leap through your screen and hug every single one of you who has supported me and my books throughout the years - some for nearly a decade, some who have found my stories more recently, but ALL of you so dearly loved and appreciated by me. (Truly, I have no words for how grateful I am!! 🥹😭)
I absolutely can’t wait for everything that’s ahead, and all the books I’m looking forward to giving you in the future - I have 5 already on contract, and I am SO EXCITED for you to read them when the time comes!! (Brace yourselves! That’s all I’m saying! 😉)
