The line between inside and outside was never meant to be a hard one.
This room at Park House is one of our favorite expressions of that belief. Living room comfort, garden soul. Lush botanicals surround every surface, softening the architecture and blurring the boundary between the interior and the world just beyond it. It is a space that breathes.
We are drawn to rooms that feel alive, that carry the energy of something growing, something natural, something that reminds you that a home is not separate from the earth it sits on. This is that room.

Some homes you design. Others, you listen to first. The Park House, a 1938 Georgian revival by Gerard Colcord, had a story to protect. When Jonathan Scott, friend of Lauren's, and Zooey Deschanel came to us, the goal wasn’t to rewrite it—it was to live beautifully within it.
So we layered, rather than replaced. Color, pattern, and texture brought warmth and personality, while the original architecture—those archways, the crown, the bones—set the rhythm for everything that followed. And then, a moment of surprise: the former patio, now a glass-lined solarium with a fountain and olive trees. A space that feels like stepping outside, without ever leaving.
A home with history—now unmistakably theirs.

Inspiration is everywhere, if you know where to look.
Los Angeles has always been one of our greatest creative references. The way light moves differently here at every hour. The way mid-century architecture sits comfortably next to something raw and contemporary. The textures, the culture, the color that shows up in the most unexpected places.
The best interiors are informed by the world outside them. Every project we take on carries influences that go far beyond a mood board—the art we have encountered, the cities we have moved through, the details that stopped us in our tracks. Los Angeles gives us that every single day.

A home that plays two roles, effortlessly. For voice actor, Max Mittelman, it needed to feel calm, grounded, and minimal… while quietly holding an entirely different world beneath the surface.
Warm oak, soft light, and a Japandi foundation set the tone. Then come the layers you don’t immediately see—custom RGB lighting that shifts with the mood, integrated gaming zones, and tech that feels seamless rather than showy.
Spaces to recharge and escape, sometimes both at once. When your life revolves around storytelling, home should know how to keep up 🎮

When Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears and his wife Emily first came to us, they were prepared to sell this Hollywood Hills home. The bathrooms weren't reflecting the home's potential, or theirs. They chose to stay, and to transform.
With full creative freedom, we designed two distinct sanctuaries. The primary bathroom is anchored in bold Viola marble — moody, sophisticated, and deeply considered. Handcrafted cabinetry and warm brass bring warmth to the drama. The guest bathroom takes a softer turn, Jade marble lending a quieter luxury that welcomes without overwhelming.
Emily's commitment to sustainability shaped every decision, from low-VOC finishes to responsibly sourced fixtures. Nothing here is arbitrary. Everything sings. This is what it looks like when a home is designed to be lived in, not left behind. ✨

From concept to completion, every phase is approached with intention. Our process is comprehensive and seamless, guiding each project from initial vision through design development, procurement, and final installation. It allows our clients to move through the experience with clarity, knowing each detail is being considered, managed, and executed with care. Design, at its best, is both creative and precise.

Feng Shui is often misunderstood as a set of rules. For us, it’s a way of thinking about balance, flow, and how a space is experienced over time. How you enter a room, where your eye is drawn, how light moves throughout the day.
These are quiet considerations, but they shape how a home feels in a lasting way. When thoughtfully applied, design becomes less about placement and more about alignment. 🤍

The bedroom at the Hancock Park Residence embraces the same bold personality seen throughout the rest of the home. A dramatic gallery wall behind the bed creates an artistic focal point, layering visual interest and storytelling into the space.
Statement lighting and sculptural furnishings bring depth and character, while thoughtful styling keeps the room feeling balanced and intentional. The result is a bedroom that feels expressive, elevated, and undeniably memorable.

A study in tone, texture, and restraint.
This month’s palette leans into softened contrasts—natural materials layered with quiet depth. Before a space is built, it’s felt here first. 🤍

In North Hollywood, this home became an exploration of contrast—quiet restraint layered with moments of cinematic expression.
While much of the residence leans into a grounded, Japandi-inspired palette, the theater room was designed as a departure. Inspired by the golden age of Hollywood, the custom bar introduces a richer, more expressive material language—where deeper tones, reflective finishes, and Art Deco references create a sense of atmosphere. It’s a space designed not just for viewing, but for experience, where function meets a more immersive, transportive mood.

In Hancock Park, we approached this home as a study in contrast. Old and new, restraint and expression, structure and soul.
A full-gut renovation gave us the freedom to reimagine each room not just as a space, but as a moment. Arched ceilings became a frame for a sculptural black marble fireplace. The dining room leans into boldness, where deep blue walls meet the weight of stone, designed for evenings that linger. In the kitchen, softer tones and copper accents bring balance, allowing materiality to speak without excess.
Throughout, vintage pieces were intentionally layered in, not as decoration, but as anchors of history and character. This home was never meant to feel uniform. Each space holds its own presence while contributing to a larger, more personal narrative.
