Sharing some work… an article I wrote for @1granary in March 2025 proposing a new global networked solution to fashion, foregrounding relationship and empathy throughout the supply chain and rethinking ideas of waste. The ideas came out of an experimental lab called Makers Camp // The Ghana Project that I co created with @berniyates@mafcsm@lostbysj and an enormous group of collaborators and experts from Central Saint Martins, London, Accra and across the world 🙏🏻💙👖
Wrote about beauty and digital structures prompted by 3 reads - Ellen Atlanta, Silvia Federici, actually not this Naomi Wolf book but the Naomi Klein book Doppelgänger and Ellen’s book both referenced this book so much so that I went and got it out of sceptical curiosity. Shared something about skiing and the weird feeling of loving the sun but being worried for the snow. When through our actions we know we are contributing to the disappearance of whole ecosystems and alpine ways of life - but have anyway fallen in love with the mountains - can we already start to think about what comes next? Back from 3 whirlwind days in Vienna opening THE CRAFTOCENE with @superfluxstudio@anabjain@jonardern - from seeing show posters up on the Burgring to seeing my name in the studio credits, and seeing some of these pieces IRL, borrowed back from their tours around the world, it was a series of major firsts.
