it’s been almost two years since i was fragmented into a billion pieces giving birth, and exactly a year since i was shattered to a million more after the passing of my M🤍M. i see & feel her presence throughout motherhood. in light of her passing, it’s transformed me & i see it as divine synchronicity. i gained an ancestor & a Sun 🌳🦋🌞 being a woman is IT, but i did not know true power, ability wisdom & strength until i became a Mother. my greatest creation 🥭 the greatest gift that God bestowed upon me & my biggest role yet. i don’t know Love without being a Mother. another day to get it right 🧿

Meet our special guest for Throw It Back, @djspectakulah , a Chilltown, Jersey City native ⏰ With over two decades of experience, DJ Spectakulah is a world-class turntablist, producer, and educator recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to DJ culture. His career launched in the late ‘90s with competitive accolades, including becoming a 1998 New York City DMC Regional Finalist, 1999 Philadelphia DMC Champion, and USA DMC Runner-Up. He was also a member of the 1999 ITF Western Hemisphere Team Champions, competing globally at the ITF World Team Championships. A fierce competitor, he returned to the battle scene to win the 2023 DMC Scratch Finals, place as runner-up at the Hip-Hop 50th Anniversary DJ Battle in Times Square, and take the title of 2024 NAMM Battle Royale Champion, among other recent wins. As a producer, he contributed to notable works such as Lil Wayne & Curren$y’s “Pineapple Sunkiss” and Immortal Technique’s 3rd World. He’s also deeply rooted in education, having taught at Scratch DJ Academy, Dubspot, and Sound Collective.
