Ofelia Square – a former ferry dock has been transformed into a popular public space in historic Copenhagen while also resolving traffic challenges in the area. From former industrial site to living coastal nature: since 2008, we have worked on the masterplan for Tuborg South in Hellerup. Our vision was to transform the area into one continuous landscape rather than divide it into residential blocks, with the Coastal Houses placed along the shoreline. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Together with Gentofte Municipality, we developed a new local plan to secure this vision with a landscape plan by @juliekierkegaard . Today, the vision continues with the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s new headquarters, placed close to Hellerup to preserve as much landscape as possible and open the site towards the Øresund coast. At Havneholmen (2008), two U-shaped residential blocks open towards the water, designed to maximise daylight, views, and access to outdoor spaces. Topping-out ceremony for Danevirke Museum. Late fall 2026 the new 2170 m² museum will be handed over to the client. The historic fortress of Danevirke in South Sleswig, Germany is Northern Europe’s largest ancient monument and a UNESCO world heritage site. This site marks the beginning of Denmark as a nation. We’re honoured to see our custom-designed The Park Lantern shortlisted for the @darc_awards in the category KIT: Exterior Conceived for the 30,000 m² landscape surrounding Danske Bank’s new headquarters at Postgrunden in Copenhagen, our outdoor light explores the meeting point between industrial design, architecture, and landscape. The lantern is not simply an object, but a spatial instrument — shaping rhythm, scale, and atmosphere across the site. Light is treated as a material in its own right. It extends the experience of place beyond daylight, becoming more than function; it creates atmosphere, supports social life, and adds value to the experience of place. A closer look at the roof structures at the Danevirke Museum in South Schleswig. They’re optimized for span and functionality using a solid mix of glulam beam rafters and trussed rafters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The roof over the exhibition hall is carried by four compound timber columns, each made from four full-length solid timber members (8.5 m). These columns define the central exhibition space, topped with a skylight. The contractors have already closed the east roof plane with timber sheathing and roofing membrane. Currently competing for an exciting project: Tingbjerg Multi Hall — a new 14,000 m² hub for sport and community in the Copenhagen neighbourhood of Tingbjerg. The client is seeking a high-quality architectural landmark that acts as a catalyst for positive community building at the neighbourhood level—clearly rooted in Tingbjerg, yet with the openness and appeal to attract users from across Copenhagen. Our team includes @mariannelevinsenlandskab , Chroma Arkitekter, Niras, universal design and accessibility specialist Cora Valloire, and Professor Jasper Schipperijn, bringing leading expertise in the design of movement and activity environments. A look at our competition proposal for the transformation of Fabrikken Cultural District Hedelund in northern Jutland developed in collaboration with @pihlmann @bogl_landscape and Søren Jensen Consulting Engineers. Many smaller towns in Denmark face the same question: What happens when industry shuts down and the buildings remain? Our proposal for Fabrikken takes the existing structures as its point of departure—treating them as resources. How can their identity and materials become part of the city’s future without losing its history? We reuse as much of the existing buildings as possible and add as little as possible—with the greatest possible impact. We work from the fundamental structure and distinct character of the buildings. From there, we make adjustments so that new functions and requirements fundamentally adapt to the premises of the buildings—not the other way around. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every surface, every trace, and every joint carries a story of use and time. Therefore, we preserve as much as possible. Structures, floors, brick, and steel are reused in situ. Elements that must be relocated are catalogued and reinserted in new contexts. New additions are made only where function and safety require them—and are designed as visible, reversible connections.
