Very humbled to be a small part in @michellemcternan and the @grandambitionswansea journey.
Hop is a vital piece of work for young people and families, it’s ambitious, powerful, funny, silly and full of hope.
The whole process has been a joy. To watch the master @phylipharries at work has been nothing short of inspirational. His playful and inquisitive nature gives so much richness and diversity to each read. Full of admiration for @ellabellapeel dedication, work ethic, skill and incredible voice. She was born to be on stage and I’m so proud to watch her overcome some unfair experiences and spread her wings.
And to the amazing crew and staff of grand ambition. They left no stone unturned and fostered an environment for artists and audiences alike to thrive. Can’t wait to be part of their continuing journey.

What can we say? This has been an overwhelming and beautiful experience.
We are totally and utterly grateful to the wonderful artists that bought into this project, who came to a place that isn’t their own, but treated Llandovery, its stories and people as if they were.
There are times in life when something special happens, it’s not tangible, you can’t name it but you can certainly feel it. Magic.
Working alongside this group of talented and generous and dedicated individuals has been exactly that. It had to be this group. If it were anyone else, it would have been different, felt different.
We are so thankful that our first time stepping into the role of producers was with this team of absolute dreams.
Sad that it’s over but ultimately proud.
