On this Good Friday, a day rooted in sacrifice, love and legacy — I’m grateful to share a project that holds deep meaning.
Collaborating with @four8stories we created a beautiful piece honouring Joivan’s dad. His story is one of faith, strength, and the legacy we leave behind.
In the first video, I speak on why I felt led to be part of this.

My baby girl turned 2 today ❤️
The last few years have been a rollercoaster…. highs, lows, and everything in between. But through every storm, this little angel has been my calm. My reminder to keep going. My reason to fight.
Zuri, you’ve taught me more about love, patience, and purpose than life ever could. You saved me when I didn’t even realise I needed saving. You brought light to days that felt heavy. You made me a dad; the best title I’ll ever hold.
To all the fathers out there, keep holding on. Keep showing up. It’s not always easy, but our kids see us trying. They feel our love in every small moment. Whatever life throws at you, just keep stepping forward.
Happy Birthday my beautiful girl.
Forever grateful.
Your loving dad 🤍

Joivan Wade and Percelle Ascott of @WallOfEntertainment for the Catalyst edition
“From the beginning, the founders have seen their work as more than just entertainment. It’s a vehicle for empowerment, born from their own experiences of rejection, underestimation, and hard-fought progress in a space where opportunities were scarce.
As we delve into their remarkable rise, the hurdles they’ve overcome in an industry still riddled with inequality, and the inner workings of creating a platform that champions Black British creatives, it becomes clear that their journey is as much about lifting others as it is about personal ambition.” - Kyra Latinwo, PWR Editor
