What a crowd full of love! Rarely do I want to stop playing music, but sheesh, seeing all the amazing friends through the lights made me want to celebrate together at the Underwater release party. This made years of producing this song worth it… a solo journey becomes a shared experience, and now underwater has a life of its own.

Has loving someone ever felt like being underwater, craving their presence like a desperate breath? As I swam through the whirlpool of emotions this year, writing this song unveiled new threads for love, painting water-filled metaphors for yearning and comfort. This is my hearts most lyrically vulnerable song, so please take care of its tender sonic waves. It’s also vibey!

Morning practice to free my flow past limitations ✨
First I try to write a song still in my dream state, then I affirm that I am a worthy lizard 🦎, next I journal about existential thoughts, ahh free of that thought… for now muhahah, suddenly I find ease for creating, feeling less weight of my ego’s distracting story, I close by reading a lil something, this time about the Japanese philosophy of Ikigai, contemplating how to go deeper into my path of purpose and fulfillment. Then it’s time for bed, jk.. I do things 🤔
