This innovative project, which began two years ago, has found a permanent home in a venue steeped in history, having hosted Nigeria’s first public film screening over a century ago. We are proud to have partnered with @losingdaylight.ng and @taiwooadeyemi to create a space where history comes alive daily.
Located within the passageway at Glover Memorial Hall on Custom Street, Lagos Island, the “Portal” exhibition offers a unique lens into Nigeria’s defining moments, with film at its core. Designed and delivered by @soos.studio and supported by @wemabank and @indomie_nigeria this exhibition is a must-visit for anyone passionate about Nigerian history and culture.
We invite you to explore the “Portal” from Monday to Saturday and discover the fascinating stories that have shaped our nation. We are also eager to collect more historical artifacts and encourage anyone with relics from the past to reach out to us.
