I’ve been thinking a lot about blessings lately. There are aspects of them that I love & that tickle me - something about how they let us wander to the horizons of our understanding, from time to time, and something about how they’re made primarily of surprises, and something about how transformation can occur so quickly, like stepping out of the shower or sea, glistening and wet. I felt all of those through these seven months, through something I had never imagined myself capable of. I remember how humbled I was to be there, how excited and hungry, how I couldn’t believe the kindness around me. I loved that time. It felt fun and rigorous and good. Most of all, I remember the joy, the physical fact of the joy. It was tangible and everywhere, and I struggle to describe the memories, because they are a good deal more than beautiful. Anyways, that was The Pitt Season 2. I’m changed, and I love these people. I remember the sound of everybody’s laugh. I’m grateful beyond what I can find words for. I hope you enjoyed the season. 🫀
