Another @touchdesigner appreciation post ! This time thanks to @noid_lab , Ireland’s Touchdesigner monthly meet-up session at @toghackerspace . This month we had a fab session with @louiselucid helping us get up set with ZIG sim and chatting about the possibilities for using our phones as sensors. Thanks to Liam for keeping us right and jumping in to be the first to demonstrate. Thanks also to @lennondaire for taking us through his work and processes for Tracings, a series of performances and installations for @droghedaculture Drogheda Culture Night. Amazing what Daire achieved with only a few months learning TD. Nothing like a deadline to focus the mind 😨. Thanks to @artisticdifferences.av for sharing all his knowledge too. Always lovely to meet fellow TD enthusiast @animwal_ . Big shout out to @noid_lab@pauric_freeman of @conceptnull@serdar_buhan@louiselucid Ciaran @somascene for scheduling and organising the meet-ups. The generosity of these experienced TD experts in sharing their skills with us relative newbies is a collective act of subtle subversion and kindness against the downward trends of our times ☺️
Come and join us at TOG Hackerspace Sat 20th Dec 6pm - for a fun and informative demo of Glass Flameworking techniques.🔥🔥🔥 We'll cover borosilicate, soft and recycled glass. Great to see everyone at our 2nd Touchdesigner Ireland Meetup in TOG last night. Thanks to @somascene for leading us through a “depth anything” tutorial and some great WIP projects shared afterwards. Join the discord to pick up the assets if you couldn’t make it along. https://discord.gg/56Xsu4mQ See you at the next one on 10/12
Join us in @toghackerspace for the second in a series of monthly meetups for anyone interested in @touchdesigner , from complete beginners to experienced creators. Each session runs for around two hours in a relaxed, hands-on setting. With multiple rooms available we can host beginner and advanced activities simultaneously, ensuring everyone gets the most out of the evening.
Expect an informal, community-driven environment where the format adapts to participants. You’re welcome to bring a laptop to follow along, showcase your work, or simply join the discussion.
We’ve also set up a @discord server for ongoing discussion and planning. Join us there to share ideas for future sessions or to express interest in presenting your work: https://discord.gg/UPCh4ywV9p

✨ What a weekend!
Last weekend was our very first Re:Glass event at @dublinmaker and it was pure magic.
Turning “trash glass” into art glass right before your eyes. 🔥✨
Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to watch, chat and share the wonder of recycled glass in action. 💚
🔥
This is just the beginning! We can’t wait to bring more art, science and fire to communities, classrooms and beyond. Watch this space! 👀
