This is a little different from what I usually post, so bear with me! Yesterday I ran the
@londonmarathon
I started heart rate training around the time my close friend
@whartoncarly passed away last summer. Then the day after Mum was admitted to hospital, I started my marathon training plan. At the time I really had no idea what that journey was going to look like, or what it was going to carry.
I ran in memory of Graeme and Rachel,
@claire.1bast brother and sister, raising money for
@cardiacriskintheyoung . It meant everything. Our Mums were such close friends, and with losing my Mum in January, there were moments during the training where I really did have to dig deep! But 91 days since losing her, I did, and yesterday I crossed that finish line which felt amazing.
To
@katfitnessandfood thank you. You kept me going when it counted most and showing up on so many of those training runs meant more than you know! And
@aaron__fletcher , thank you for joining me on one of the long ones, it made such a difference having you there!
To all of my friends and to
@mattyhutson and his family, thank you for yesterday. The support throughout has really meant the world to me. And to everyone who has donated, thank you so so much, it truly means everything. A day I certainly won’t be forgetting anytime soon! ❤️💫🏃♀️
