This weekend, we got to hear an in-person talk between Krista Tippet and Navid Kermani, and to meet Krista, one of the most illuminating and treasured voices of my adult life. I discovered her show “Speaking of Faith”, which later evolved into @onbeing , in the early 2000s. Her extraordinary conversations with brave, imaginative thought leaders were a guiding light of humanity and hope when my own faith was being shaken and reshaped, as I began to question institutions and ideologies that had once formed the bedrock of my understanding of the world. Again and again, I’ve turned to her space, and been rocked, challenged and revitalized.
