Illustrations for @mohammedelkurd ’s ‘Perfect Victims’ excerpt in the essay section of the latest Palastina issue of @jacobinmag_de 🍉🇵🇸✊🏾 Created under the watchful art direction and eye of @gold_hanna - thank you for having me!

♨️ POSTER SALE ALERT ♨️ Very proud to have worked with (and hopefully continue working with) the amazing @worldwideweb3000 and @afghanpunkzine to create a series of posters and illustration for ‘Afghan Punk City,.’ These posters are now available for purchase in A1 format via DM at @afghanpunkzine to fund the next issue of the magazine!!! Cop one while you can 💸💸💸 Afghan Punk City saw Afghan Punk Zine making the jump from being a symbolic online presence to taking up space in the real world in a physical and social environment 🌐🌏 It was a Berlin-based project including formats for young Afghan adults, offering pathways toward organizing and building stronger alliances based on embodied, relational ways of transmitting knowledge, being, remembrance, and mutual survival. These interconnected participatory workshops were meant to slowly build on each other to establish trust, and to explore what strengthens our existence in the city through bodily experience, art, and community-driven knowledge. Read more over @afghanpunkzine !!!! @worldwideweb u da best! Ty for trusting me with ur vision and bb!!! 💐🥺 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

Visual identity, illustration and design for on-going curational project for Louder, Taller, Uglier, Weirder – Learning from Weeds / Von Unkraut lernen’, currently showing at @kunstraumbethanien . Concept Development and type treatment in collaboration with Rosalie Wood / @studiokitschen .  “Inspired in an intuitive and visceral way by weeds, Louder, Taller, Uglier, Weirder – Learning from Weeds / Von Unkraut lernen is a curatorial project composed of events that we call sprouts and exhibitions that unfold with different, perhaps irregular, rhythms.
Spanning nearly a year, the project begins at Xanadu in Neukölln, before opening its first exhibition at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien in autumn 2025. From this initial moment, many more sprouts will appear across the city, along with three more exhibitions at Galerie im Turm in Friedrichshain, Bärenzwinger in Mitte and Galerie im Körnerpark in Neukölln.
We start with a direction to follow and the curiosity to discover what grows next: how and where will the weeds that give life to this project take root? Sometimes they remain close to the plant world, at other times they extend far beyond it—turning weeds into a shared spirit that resists taming.”

Curated by and big thank you to @anais_senli @lopecado @sf__pan @sylv_inski and @kunstraumkreuzberg for your patience and trust in letting us bring your weedy baby visually to life.

The concept surrounding the visual identity for this project was inspired by three main ideas: Pushing the  borders/boundaries and margins with the unusual and not necessarily beautiful being prominent, taking up spaces where one or something is not meant to be or no longer welcome but thriving despite it all, and finally mapping - tracing origins and holding histories, unfolding narratives and structures - seeds as vessels and sprouting as forms of survival and resilience 🌿🌱🌼

Very excited to be part of this huge journey and on-going series - stay tuned for more Weeds popping up all over the city in 2026!
