I don’t think it is pointless to make art without an audience - even though it might sometimes feel that way! Many of us experience doubt about this issue at some point, which, if left unchecked, can really demotivate and prevent us from engaging in one of the potentially most meaningful pursuits available. It’s my hope that some of the ideas I present here can help keep the flame of art alive in us. thank you to @griigg for inspiring me to work through this topic and develop a healthier approach to my own artistic practice.
