Build your own experimental sound device!
In this workshop, you’ll create the Knattermax, a compact electronic tool for exploring the hidden resonances of different surfaces.
Step by step, you’ll learn the basics of simple circuits, soldering, and working with wood, transforming raw materials into a unique sound instrument.
Led by multimedia artist Thomas Keiser, whose practice spans video, performance, installation, and sound art.

📼 dirrid/styllyts - Tape Loop Building Workshop
Dive into the world of analog sound and looping!
As dirrid/styllyts, Dirk Dullmaier and Stylianos Papavasiliou work with found cassette material to create immersive soundscapes.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to build your own tape loops using obsolete cassette tapes.
The session concludes with a collective tape loop orchestra performance, embracing the beauty of analog imperfections.

Ein Einblick in die Proben unseres aktuellen Projektes „Motion Creation Design“ im Kontext des World Design Capital 2026 RheinMain in Kooperation mit dem Hessischen Staatsballett und dem Kunsthaus Wiesbaden
Im Mittelpunkt stehen die drei Fragen:
Wie interagiere ich mit Kunstwerken? Wie gehe ich mit Design und Konsum um?–Und wie gestalte ich meinen Lebensraum?
Choreografie wird hierbei als Kommunikationsmittel eingesetzt, menschliche Bewegung in visuelle Assoziationen zu übersetzen. Bilder, Bewegungen und Ausdruck der Tänzer:innen und Gäste werden in Echtzeit in Kunstepochen, Architekturmodelle und Designobjekte transformiert.
Die musikalische Ebene entsteht live auf Synthesizern durch @luggez_ und erweitert diesen Prozess um eine klangliche Dimension. Klang fungiert dabei als dynamische Schnittstelle zwischen Bewegung und Bild und verstärkt die wechselseitige Interaktion der Elemente.

Die drei Aufführungstermine teilen sich in einen vorgelagerten Tanz Workshop und die abendliche Tanz Performance, in der es auch partizipative Interaktionen zwischen den Tänzern und dem Publikum geben wird.
