Many artists have graced the stages of Open Sound Festival 2025 last December, yet it was a particular honour for us to host the Italian première of Circled Dot, performed by @katatonic_silentio and @lorem_____ at Auditorium R. Gervasio in Matera.
What we have witnessed was an audio visual performance that guided us through the therapeutic potential of sound: the screen, populated with written words and unidentified creatures, while smoke and strobe lights accompanied the sonic journey, created an all-encompassing effect that pervaded the entire auditorium.
Definitely a cerebral experience.

Some images and a small video from the Opera REQUIEM FOR MARIZA, debuting tomorrow at the @nationaleoperaballet in Amsterdam.
The work is a deep journey in the brief moment in-between life and death. The main protagonist, Mariza, suddenly finds herself in a twilight zone between the life she knew and an unfathomable future.

Tectonic’s 20th anniversary year officially begins, as we announce a collaboration between @pinch_tectonic and AV artist and producer @lorem_____ . ‘Red Rabbit’ started life as an hour-long audiovisual performance by the pair at 2024’s @lunchmeatfestival in Prague, and since evolved into an EP.

Once again I had the chance to collaborate with @maeid.office on the ir installation, that explores the layered entanglements between human, bacteria, algae and machine vision. The work unfolds through a hybrid interface where real-time biometric and environmental data shape audiovisual forms.
For this project, I worked on the real-time sonification together with my fam @_lucapagan_ . This time I also designed the responsive video sequences ( based on large datasets captured through @aprinstruments ’ microcamera) and on the real-time data visualization system developed with @raptus.xy .
