It‘s been 5 years since my last outing as Loop LF but I couldn‘t be happier surfacing again as part of this beautiful compilation on @blndr_tom s @prosophone label together with @eyot__tapes / @boddika , @saphileaum & 1too / @secondcousin_ 🍃
Like one of the shyest animals in the woods, the Roe deer, it‘s been taking a long time to get good old Loopy back out into the world but having @blndr_tom appreciating the music so much and us connecting through musical ideas a few years back has made a huge difference and given me and the project a lot of positive energy that was needed after years of not being able to finish any new releases under this alias for various reasons. 🌀
‚Roe‘ was written 5 years ago during the first lock down and was a momentary escape from the mental stress of having to go into work while living with 6 people and finding ways of communicating about safety but also each others needs in that difficult time period.
With spring in full swing and the first warm sunrays gracing us while making trips into nature so wonderful again, it feels like a beautiful moment to release this into the world together with many talented musicians that I have been closely following for a while. In the slides you can also see hints of a recent Paris trip meeting @blndr_tom for the first time and starting some more collaborations while also just having a wonderful time with new friends. 🍃
I‘m still not sure in what capacity Loop LF will be back yet but it‘s good to have this out in the world and bring some new life into little project. I also realized that not everyone knows about this alias of mine so I guess this is the first ‚official‘ post outside of having it in my bio and on discogs already.💫

Hasn’t been the most active year for Loop LF but chuffed some people still remember some of my music…really means the world to me. ❤️
Still felt like I’ve met and e-met lots of new people this year which was extremely lovely - after all what is music without the community surrounding it..
I’ve been working on new material since my last release in 2020 so hopefully things will align this year, really looking forward to share it all with you!
My favourite records took 2 years to come together so maybe it’s all meant to be…
