Honoured to be recognised as winners of the AD New Wave Award 2026, after being shortlisted among 25 studios across multidisciplinary design domains from over 700 entries across South Asia. This recognition belongs as much to our team, clients, mentors and collaborators as it does to us…to every conversation, every leap of faith, every late night and every shared obsession with making something meaningful. Deep gratitude to the jury @ghadiok , @peterdascoli , @labwerk , @rajatsodhi and @nivangi_davda , for seeing value in our voice and our work. And to the wonderful editorial team at AD- @ghadiok , @harleenday and @nuriyahjohar , thank you for believing in us from the very beginning and for being such generous champions of our journey. Here’s to curiosity over comfort, instinct over formula, and to creating spaces with soul.

What a beautiful start to the year for the studio! We are absolutely delighted to win ID Honours 2024 in the ‘Emerging Design Firm’ category along with some kick-ass contemporaries. Reflecting on the six years of passionate work and numerous memorable projects, we feel super proud and thankful for our team of super talented architects, clients and contractors. We have always strived to create spaces that invoke strong sensory emotions in people through unique volumes and materiality, something that is synonymous with Loop’s identity. We would like to thank @indiadesignid and a powerhouse of a panel- Sunitha Kondur (@sunikondur ), Ambrish Arora(@ambrisharora ), Nina Puri (@ninapuri_architect ), Sameep Padora (@sameeppadora ), Abin Chaudhuri(@abin_chaudhuri )and Nuru Karim (@nurukarim ) for acknowledging our work. We want to congratulate and thank @itspreetisingh , @kashmirapathare , @mrudul.pathak @s.h.r.i.t.i @thesrishtishetty and the entire ID team for putting together a beautifully curated event. • Project: Varma Farmhouse • Photography: @purneshdev • Area: 6000 sq. feet • Location: Chandigarh, India • Construction team: @karveinfra This contemporary farmhouse explores the poetics of proportion, light, and materiality. Linear planes, deep cantilevers, and expansive glazed thresholds establish a quiet architectural rhythm, one that dissolves the boundary between enclosure and landscape. A tactile palette of dark stone, warm timber, muted limewashed surfaces, and curated objects lends softness to the rigor of the built form. Light is treated as a material in itself, washing across textured surfaces, reflecting off polished floors, and continuously recalibrating the atmosphere of the home through the day. #design #interior #interiordesigner #architecture #farmhouse

• Project: @rhapsody.chd • Photography: @purneshdev • Area: 3900 sq. feet • Location: Sector 17, Chandigarh, India • Clients: @raghavgupta95 @mad_mehta • Construction team: @karveinfra • Upholstery and Fabrics: @furnishingstudio Rhapsody is a quiet architectural composition, an interior defined by restraint, rhythm, and material depth. Set in Chandigarh, the fine-dining space unfolds with a calm horizontality inspired by the principles of Frank Lloyd Wright, where low planes, layered volumes, and human-scaled proportions create an intimate sense of shelter. The architecture does not seek attention; it reveals itself slowly. Natural stone and warm wood form the spatial backbone, grounding the restaurant in tactility and warmth. Brass appears in soft, deliberate accents- aged, muted, and reflective while marble anchors key moments with quiet gravitas. Terrazzo floors stitch the palette together, and greens are woven into the architecture, softening boundaries and allowing the space to breathe. Light is treated as a gentle presence, grazing textures and deepening shadows rather than illuminating outright. Furniture remains low, sculptural, and tactile, reinforcing stillness and continuity. In its understated luxury, Rhapsody becomes less a destination and more an atmosphere, where architecture hums softly in the background, allowing time, conversation, and experience to unfold with ease. #design #designbunker #designwanted #architecture #architect designboom product wood grid cozy cafe design_only restaurant instagood instagram instadaily instalike interior café lounge architecturenow indianinteriordesign woodworking insta architecturedesign architecturelovers archilovers bar vogue__designs interiordesign

Mirzapur Manifesto Episode 7 A movement, before it becomes a norm. A presence, even in being forgotten. Suvrita (@suvritabhardwaj ) and Nikhil (@nikhilpsingh ) of Loop Design Studio (@loopdesignstudio ) speak of architecture as quiet contribution — where trust becomes tangible, and the work lives on in people. Not to be seen. But to remain.
