An exciting one for NZ Music Month. @queens.rooftop is welcoming live music to the space with a Sunday residency curated entirely by @nathan.haines - one of New Zealand’s most respected jazz musicians and producers. This May, Nathan brings together artists he has played alongside, recorded with and championed, with each session featuring two live sets and a DJ set from his own vinyl collection, built over more than four decades. Welcoming @justanotherfisherman to the LK family - one of Aotearoa’s most distinctive outdoor brands, built from a genuine love of fishing. Last week we celebrated their latest collaboration with heritage maker @victoryknives , launching the Bare Bones Sashimi & Filleting Knife Set, alongside the Bare Bones Tee and Ledger Cap - a tribute to the head-to-tail philosophy founder Aaron Styles lives by in his own catch-to-plate approach. Hosted with @junoauckland the evening brought friends of the brand together over fish caught on the Barrier by Aaron and his son, prepared nose-to-tail for the table, with a live demo using the knives. Founded by Penny Styles in 2018, RMN is guided by a ‘less is more’ philosophy, creating pieces that embody an effortless, quietly rebellious approach to style, grounded in thoughtful design and quality fabrication. Their latest Autumn collection draws on the spirit of festival dressing, inspired by Glastonbury in the early 2000s.
