The sound work domovfón is based on the principles of oral history. Through a metaphorical intercom, the author enters a local day centre for seniors and holds conversations with its visitors. He asks the seniors open-ended questions, allowing them to speak freely about their memories, experiences, and everyday life in Petržalka before and after the housing estate was built. The recording captures authentic voices and natural reactions without formal moderation of the dialogue. The work is conceived as a collage of multiple recordings and imitates the sonic aesthetic of an intercom. The result is an intimate sonic testimony to the collective memory of older people living in LOM’s neighborhood.
